Support for repairs and maintenance of privately owned homes is one of our key priorities. We are currently developing a program so that you can access skilled labour, building materials, and financial assistance for repairs to your home. Leadership is currently determining which projects will be prioritized.
If you own your home and are not eligible for support from Housing NWT, please reach out. The first step is to register your home with the K’asho Got’ine Housing Society. Please stop by our office to register.

Every year, we will choose certain repairs of focus, such as roofing or windows. That way we will be able to save money and develop our skills for specific types of repairs.

• Emergency callout repairs – this can include issues such as frozen sewer tank and lines or no heat situations. Provided there is an agreement with the Housing NWT.
• Preventative Maintenance Work – Annual preventive maintenance work is conducted in partnership with Housing NWT, for registered homes.
